Revisiting my blog, I have chosen to publish posts I made private years ago for fear that it overstepped the boundaries of privacy. In an increasingly online world, writing too close to home lead to queries of what should remain private and what is acceptable for the world to know.
Yet time is the great equalizer for as years passed, reading posts I made in the past, albeit controversial and downright to the heart at that time, will just remain as history lessons in the current realm.
And so, I relish going back to the past. Revisiting old flames and relishing how my emotions worked at that time and how apparently mature I believe I’ve become. There is a reason why I write. The catharsis it brings forth and the delight of discovery old posts brings are like treasures one cannot easily deny.
