censorship

Spread the love

This is a random post and I feel at odds posting such when there has been countless other posts harbored in various notebooks that I should be posting here. Posts more relevant to our times and daresay more pertinent to whoever is patient enough to read through this blog. Posts about how Grace Poe is being ushered into the presidency and how it impacts me as someone who also desires to be in that position. Posts about how the end times is near as what I’ve gleamed from my ravenous reading of the Left Behind series. Posts about how I should be moving on to the next big phase of my life — establishing my own business and what I’ve learned towards it.

There are so many other countless posts I could be writing yet here I am discussing things about censorship. Censorship in the sense of what I share; what I post. Even before we had social media to express ourselves, I have been expressing my thoughts in my blog. Weird as they are or unpopular, I find it liberating to have a space in this vast void of the universe where I can air out my thoughts.

Yet there are times when I do feel a portion of me wondering if I’ve revealed to much. Exposed too much. That at the time of writing felt natural and made sense but when I hit publish and saw the stats rise up, a hint of regret creeps in. Yet at times I argue that what I post helps others. A testimony to what I’ve surpassed. A lesson or guide to those in the same boat as I am.

And hence after much introspection as the time limit made possible, I will post as I deem fit. Not for arrogance. Not for attention. But because I have that hope deep down, that with every thought I post, someone, somewhere is touched.
