Places Outside the Country

Korea

I fell in love with Korea due to the numerous Koreanovelas and movies I’ve watched over the years. Slowly, the obscure East Asian nation became a target vacation spot for me. The more I get to see the wonderful sights, the more I longed to visit them in person.

The place I would first see would have to be the Teddy Bear Museum in Jeju Island. I encountered this amazing place in the show Princess Hours. This museum is the largest of its kind in the world. Maybe, I’ll bring my 19-year-old teddy bear with me.

Antartica

I want to witness, in person, the life of the Emperor Penguins which travel miles inland just to lay a single egg to be cared for alternately by both parents. Think: Happy Feet.

New Zealand

Eversince Anchor milk used New Zealand in their commercials and gave whole families the opportunity to win a trip there; I’ve wanted to go see the place. I want to smell the air of the lush meadows and majestic mountains. I want to see the breath-taking views that have been the choice for filming locations of movies like LOTR. Most of all I want to taste the milk of their cows and see if any difference exists with those of the local cows.

Japan

I’ve always loved anime and because of that I’ve been utterly fascinated with Japanese culture combined with my fascination with their geisha culture, thanks to Memoirs of A Geisha, life won’t be complete without a visit to Japan – the land of the Rising Sun. I will visit that place when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom. Oh what a sight that would be!

USA

Egypt

Ever since representing the country in USI’s Little Miss UN 1999, of which I won 1st Runner-UP, I wanted to visit the Great Pyramids and Sphinx and to have a taste of desert life. I wanted to see the Nile, maybe even take a boat ride in it.

Serengeti Plains

The Bio blood still lives in my veins. I want to see the big cats in action – prides of lions, packs of tigers, solitary leopards, racing cheetahs, you name it. I also want to see large groups of elephants and hordes of hooved animals – deer, zebras, buffalos, gazelles, etc. I want to see Animal Planet LIVE – minus the reptiles of course.

England

My travels won’t be complete without a stop in England. I want to visit London and cross the London Bridge. I want to see the castles – both the crumbling and the restored. I want to walk where Harry Potter walked, eat what Harry Potter ate, breathe what Harry Potter breath – now wait! Scrap those statements. What was I thinking? I want to travel England. End of discussion.

Paris

Who wouldn’t want to visit the city of Love? Who wouldn’t want to visit Paris side cafés and spend idyllic afternoons in their shade? Who wouldn’t want to see the Louvre? Well, I want all those and perhaps something more. *wink wink*

China

The Great Wall. Shanghai. Macau. Authentic Chinese food. Original Dragon dance. Mooncakes and Moon Festival. Plus possible a rich Tsinoy husband. Just kidding. I would also want to see the most populated place on Earth.

There are a lot of other places I would want to go to. I want to experience the sights and sounds of Italy particularly Rome, the Vatican, Spain, Hungary, Russia, Indonesia, Australia, Brazil and many others. And the best way to go to all of them – join the Amazing Race.
